Finally Done

So it's the end of the year and we gotta one final assignment to reflect over the past year. I guess doing this assignment in a blog post is supposed to make it seem like it isn't a recycled activity, but it's a grade so not much of a choice here.
So as far as the class itself there isn't much to say about it, it was my first period and for most of the year the class seemed kinda dead and unremarkable. The activities were kinda fun especially the crucible play, and pretty much that whole week the theatre group was at the school was pretty memorable. Favorite book we read in class is probably the great gatsby although I haven't read it yet still seemed pretty nice.
As for Mr.Thomas he was a new experience as far as teachers ago. He got along really well with the students, but the only thing we could really count on him to get as back on time was a sarcastic comment. In all seriousness though he was a great teacher and I'm gonna miss his class next year.
That's really all I have to say about the class so yeah end of reflection.

Horror story

I am honestly really confused with this blog so bear with me if the thoughts come out a bit scattered and hard to follow. I believe we are just supposed to identify 5 tactics Edgar Allen Poe uses as a haunted house story writer, but the whole pretend Mr. Thomas hired me thing is throwing me off so I'm just going to choose to ignore it and vaguely state my points.

Okay so the first aspect of Poe's story that I liked was the exploration of things that are usually considered taboo. In Fall of the House of Usher this would be the incest. I'm not necessarily saying INCEST IS WHAT MAD E IT GREAT, but the uncomfortable aspects of the story help set the mood because horror stories aren't supposed to really be welcoming. Mentioning some necrophilia or something in a horror book might actually help to set the mood a lot.

The next thing that I felt as though Poe did well was keeping the reader confused. If the reader is confused in working out the logic of the world then they will be even more suprised towards the end when something painfully obvious is revealed and they wonder why they never caught on. Poe did a good job of distracting the reader from the small stuff that ended up being not so small.

Next is the setting. Every horror story needs a depressing setting that creatures of the night would thrive in. If the story was based in the world of rainbow dash I doubt it would be half as creepy as it was. A depressing and hopeless atmosphere is always good.

Finally the last thing that i feel that Poe did well was with his characters. The two main characters of the story seemed like they had the life sucked oit of them. A character with a low will is easy to break and in a horror story thats a good thing and I think poe did this really well.

Okay so finally done with this blog post im sleepy goodnight.

So just realized that this didnt post SO FUCK YEAH 5 POINTS MISSING OFF MY AVG LAST 6 WEEKS fml like really I knew did this shit I was wondering why there was a 0 here but fuck it thats life. Did this shit for nothing FUCK BLOGGER UGH im raging.

5 things we carry

So its about a week late but, I'm finally doing this blog post to keep my ap lang grade from taking another 5 point nose dive towards a minimum wage job position. Tragic. According to the assignment this is supposed to be about 5 things we carry referring to physical objects, dreams/ goals, relationships, personality, and memories. Doing this in bullet points f¥€£ a paragraph.
Physical - so I like bracelets and ever since my hair got long i usually do carry a hairband especially for work since i have to keep it back, and as far as bracelets go They often break or fall of somewhere besides this one made out of rope that doesnt come off and has a funny backstory. So 2 years ago I brought a straw hat. I loved that lil straw hat. But then one day I made a horrible deal with a bridge troll named bria and loaned her my treasured hat ignorantly. I fucked up. When the evil troll gave me back my hat it was ruined with only pieces of it left after enduring the bridge troll's trip to the water park and I made my lil old bracelet from that lil ol' straw hat. Yep life. Does this count as a memory?

Dreams/Goals - So as far as my goals go most of the time it's pretty much just: I'm fucked I'm fucked I'm fucked I'm fucked I'm fucked. So not too much to write here maybe biomedical engineering but you know likely hood of that working out is close to shit so yeah. Life.

Personality - Awesome sarcastic and witty like every other kid claims to be. Not really. Apparently im awkward. He would of thunk it? And people who have yet to actually talk to me tell me some pretty outlandish views they've had of me, so that always helps. Mostly I feel as though I'm more of a background character or maybe not background but reoccurring guest appearances twice a season.

Realtionships - Single af. Mom out the house most of the time. Dad is dad. (Yes I know my dad and regularly see him in case someone was jumping to conclusions involving typical black stereotypes) Bridge Troll or Sister is alright. Not much there.

Memories- I remember way too much. Most of the time I just act like I forgot something because it's much more convenient to come off as forgetful. Competent people can take the work load im just a guest character here. I don't have too many memories that really stuck to me as life changing errmahgerd what is life kinda stuff so yeah.

So thats that. I typed this on my phone and the red correction lines aren't showing up so sorry for any misspells or typos that make the special kids twitch.

Anti hero

So this is my "first blog post" about a week late but honestly I really just need a grade for this. 2014 no more 20's for me right. So if I remember correctly this first blog post is supposed to be about comparing an anti-hero from... Wherever, and comparing them to ichabod crane. Well he used dexter as an example already, but I love the show and im doing this from my phone which has useful pictures on it so yeah Dexter it is.
Okay so first of all they both are at some point of the story involved in somewhat of a love triangle. With ichabod crane its with rosalind the daughter of a wealthy figure in the community, and in Dexter there's Rita (pre season 4 finale ;~;). In Dexter he actually seems to get the girl and beat out his opposing love interest paul, however in ichabod crane's case it doesnt go as smoothely and he ends up losing which is something that doesn't happen to actual heroes, and the part about Dexter's romance life that doesn't make it a heroic store of GETTING IT IN is that, spoiler, Rita dies. But hey at least he knew:
Next trait to compare them on is that rhey are both manipulative people. Dexteris constantly lying to his coworkers, family, and friends in an effort to hide his true identity, and although heroes are also guilty of doing this they do not directly involve them in their line of work as Dexter does. Also he is s serial killer with a sick ritual to go along with the killings. Ichabod Crane isn't as bad in this case considering all he does is use his student's parents as temporary boarding homes, and is guilty of being a glutton while he was a guest at the homes. So all in all anti heroes arent good friends.

Okay so its almost 12 and I still need to study for math and this blogpost is probably going to get a straight 70 without much consideration of its content so it looks long enough to b.s a quick grade so this is it.

Faulty Leaders

Throughout history people have always been prone to look harder for imperfections in admirable figures rather than to focus on the redeeming qualities that gave power to these idols in the first place. So first of all it's 12 am and I just got off of work my feet and eyes hurt so I'm going to cop out on this one and just write about Obama. I need a non-penalized grade in this class. PRESIDENT OBAMA much hate so president.
So I guess I should start with the more popular accusations. (I like how I say this as though towards the end I'm going to come up with some amazing information that no one has heard of before, and totally mind$#$ the $h!T out of you because SPOILER: I'm not.) President Obama is partially Kenyan so main mud slinging politicians or whoever it is that doesn't like him are saying he AIN'T american. So there's that.

The next attempted to vilify our dear ol' chocolate president is calling him a pot head. I for one stay away from the amazing green leaf, BUT apparently from what I've heard it isn't all that bad. It is also known that he tried this awhile ago as in teenage youth awhile ago. I'm not saying to go out and light one up to be pres, but I am saying that the information seems pretty irrelevant. Drugs be bad.

Okay so it's almost 12 am and I need to post this before it's considered late so for the third paragraph uhm.... insert accusation here I don't know.

CONCLUSION Obama has had many attempts to discredit him, and in some ways they have worked, but in the end no one really gives a literal F*** about the stupid accusations anyways so I guess they don't really matter. 11:58 IM DONE
